Michael Miguel Bernal

Michael Miguel Bernal started his professional career alongside his sisters as Los Hermanos Bernal, studying ballet, Spanish, and flamenco dance. He has performed throughout Southern California, and in Oregon, Idaho, Nevada, New Mexico, New York, Colorado, and Mexico City. He studied with renowned teachers in Los Angeles, Mexico City, and Madrid. He danced with Jose Greco and Nana Lorca as a member of their touring company, culminating with performances that included concerts and appearances with the Stockton and Boston Pops Symphony Orchestras.
Always searching to fulfill his desire to research dance, he studied with teachers who made a career in dance, realizing these books would be the product of this cycle. The research led to The Golden Age of the Spanish Dance, Legends of Spanish & Flamenco Dance, and now this third book Influenced by Spanish & Flamenco Dance.
